So, my friend Maggie is an Umbrella Genius. We left work today and it was pouring. Our coworker Shyamol had an umbrella, and so did Maggie. But I didnt. She ran across the entrance of our building chasing a stray umbrella that was blowing in the wind and she got it for me. It was actually a pretty decent umbrella and it made my trip to the train station very nice!
We thought it was funny that the wind was SOOO bad and the trash can was overflowing with broken umbrellas (and they were strewn all over the street too). Here is a pic of Mags with her umbrella flipping backwards in the wind and standing next to the overflowing trash can. And, yes, we leave work when it is this dark.
