Central Park has this exhibit going on called "The Gates". Basically, they are big orange (or "saffron" depending who you ask) curtain looking things in Central Park all over the place. It was actually pretty neat to see for the first 20 minutes but then it got to be a little bit much. I had wanted to go take pictures of Central Park in the winter with the snow. So, I got up early (again) and went to take pictures. Apparently I wasn't the only one with this idea. The gates had been up for a while but there hadn't been any snow. So, as soon as the snow hit it was like open season for photographers. Everyone wanted a picture of "The Gates" with snow. So, here are a few of mine. My favorite is of the Rin Tin Tin statue.
